Potty Trained!

So a few weeks ago I decided to try Ivy Mae on the potty.
I thought she was far too young but every time anyone else went she demanded to go! This included taking a diaper off wherever we were and then trying to get it back on! so I thought I would give it 3 days, no pressure on her, if it worked it worked, if not oh well! I could NOT believe how fast she picked it up! The 1st day was about 50\50 accidents, making it there. The second day was she was making it 75% of the time and by day three she had maybe one accident!!!! Since then we have been diaper free! She has the occasional accident when no one is paying attention (in the shower or on the phone) but she has been a rockstar! She even poops on the potty which was the biggest challenge with Hads (and most kids).
Our goal was that she could be potty trained by the time the baby came but never in a million years did we think she would be potty trained at 22 months!!!! She is such an eager little learner and wants to do anything her big sister does so I can't take any credit for this… She was easy!

On the flip side my amazing little sleeper has been a sleeping terror the last few nights!!! I think she is getting molars in, if not she is seriously possessed by something very scary!!!! Last night she screamed for almost 3 hours!!! I tried everything! She wouldn't let me rock her and hit, kicked, and thrashed around when I tried to hold and console her. I am hoping tonight is better because I can NOT take many more of those nights…

Family of 5!

So I am just getting around to blogging about it, but yes, we will be a family of five next year!
I am 15 weeks along and due May 5! The girls are very excited about it and both obsessed with babies! Graham is constantly saying that if Hadley has anything to do about it she will be the only one holding "her baby"! I am defiantly less nervous (about their reactions) than I was when Ivy Mae was on the way! The are such a great little team and I am happy that they have each other especially in the first few weeks where G and I are in zombie mode and the baby needs a lot of attention!

As far as the pregnancy goes, its been…. blah….
The 1st 13 weeks were full of exhaustion and nausea!!!! Thankfully Im in the 2nd and it was always such more more pleasant with the girls and seems to be with this one as well. I have been battling vicious headaches but hope those will pass soon as well! Baby look perfect on our 13 week ultrasound. Jumping around and wiggling like crazy. Heartrate was 154. We don't have another ultrasound until December 18 but I am excited to see how much bigger he/she has gotten. We are still saying we aren't going to find out the sex this time, but we will see if one of us cracks when we are in there ;)

Other than that life is business as usual. I am going to try and post more in the next month or so (I know I have said that before) because this is the BUSIEST time of the year for us! Both girls birthday and Christmas are around the corner!!!! I am sure that means lots of pics to come!

Have a great week!
