We have an Orange!

My Baby-15 WKS (parents.com)
The body is now growing faster than the head, balancing out that brain-heavy look and making the fetus appear more baby-like. The skin is covered with lanugo, an ultrafine hair that protects it until birth. There's also hair on the baby's head, and the beginnings of tiny eyebrows. Your little one is now about 4 inches long and weighs just over 2 ounces.

That's right everyone! Our little peanut has now reached Orange status!
We are very excited about this! Well, we are excited about every new milestone ;)
In baby news, I think (never gone through this before) we have flutters, or baby movement!!! All of my books say I should start feeling some movement, that would feel like flutters around 16 weeks, so I am not totally sure? I am choosing to believe its my little peanut moving around though. I just start feeling it yesterday and to me just feels like bubbles! I love it though! I only felt it twice yesterday and once this morning (so far)! I love the feeling a cant wait to feel some kicks! hehe!
Other baby news... only 19 days until we find out what the sex will be! I am ready to start calling him\her by name. The boy name is still up in the air, so all suggestions welcome! We something uncommon, but not weird! That really narrows it down huh? ;)

As for G and I, we are just plugging along! We have had a pretty stressful week because G's job becomes less and less stable every day, but we are just trusting that God is going to see us through it! We know that it will all work out for the best!
My father-in-law is coming into town tonight for the weekend! We are really looking forward to it! I feel like I haven't seen Big Bare in forever! Plus, G loves it when his Dad visits! This does of course mean that I have to stay up past 9pm which is a challenge these days! haha! I guess I will just have to sleep in tomorrow. ;)

Anyway, that is all new from us! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

14 Weeks! Our little Lemon

Yep, the little peanut(lemon) has reached a big milestone today! Lemon status! :)
I am so proud of our little peanut! Growing like crazy, and for the most part being nice to Mom ;)!
This weekend Graham and I are going to look at some baby furniture! Probably wont buy anything just yet, but would like to get some ideas.

Other than baby updates, there is not much else going on with us. I am very excited about a massage that I have scheduled tomorrow! It is long over due I think. Tonight is date night for G and I!!! We are going to see the Hangover... obviously I lost out on a bet ;) Just kidding! I am excited to see it! We figured since its been out for a couple of weeks it wont be as crazy as trying to see The Proposal!

I promise to posts some "bump pics" soon. I have been getting a lot of requests for it!!! haha. Its kind of weird that people want to see it, but then again they probably just want to see me getting huge! hahaha. Only kidding! I loved seeing everyone's bump pics so I will share as well! I just always forget about it... Blame it on pregnancy!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Love

Back in Calgary!

Well it has been a while since I posted, and I thought I was going to be so good at this! haha!
In my defense I was in Oklahoma for a month and had quite the busy schedule. ;)
I had such a great time being home, visiting friends, and spending time with family. I have to admit that I DID NOT want to come back! :( I was so happy to see G and the kids, but wish it was in Oklahoma! Someday!

Peanut news! I am 13weeks, 4 days and we went for another ultrasound this morning. We were really hoping to find out the sex this morning, but the lady said it was still a little early! THis of course makes me think I have been dead wrong about it being a baby boy, but we will find out soon enough I guess! hehe.
After having a terrifying night in the emergency room a couple of weeks ago, G and I were both just happy to see a happy, very active little baby! He/She was having a little gymnastics session while we were in for the ultrasound.... all while sucks its thumb! I thought it was so sweet!

We have another doctors appointment tomorrow morning and will hopefully be getting to see/meet our OB really soon! I will be seeing a High-Risk OB which actually is good news because we will get to see the doctor more often! And that is saying A LOT in Canada!

Well that is all that is new with us... I will keep everyone posted in the weeks to come with the peanut news!

Have a great week!

The little Peanut!

Well I have been home for over a week and am loving EVERY minute of it!
We went to Dallas this weekend and did some shopping! I had a blast buying for the little peanut! Maybe a little too much fun! ;) Since we don't know the sex yet, I am pretty sure that we bought everything unisex in the mall! haha! I don't know how people wait to find out the sex! I am sooooo ready to know!

On the pregnancy front everything is good. I don't feel sick anymore (hopefully that last), now if my skin would just clear up I would feel more like myself! Almost 11 weeks, so hopefully it will clear up soon.

I love being home but do miss G so much!
Well if I can ever figure out how to post pictures and things I will post pictures and a ticker! :)

3 More Days!

I am so glad that I only have 3 days left until I go home!
Work as been so hard this week because I have not been sleeping! Its a terrible feeling to come to work and feel absolutely exhausted ALL DAY! I feel so unproductive!
Not to mention it makes the days drag on... :(
We did get some great news this week! Graham's company finally got the investor that they needed. Its a long story but basically they had been in talks with this gentleman for literally months about investing in their next few projects that originally were suppose to be out of the ground May 1st! Well May 1st came and went, and so did another lost paycheck! It was getting pretty stressful, but now with this investor on board, we should be stress free for a while! ;) I really like the idea of that!

So now I get to come home and actually enjoy being home, not stressing about the finances back in Calgary!
Anyway, home in 3 days! Cant wait to see everyone!

OH Friday!!!

Friday May 8th! So close to going home!
Next Saturday I get to go home for a few weeks. Its kind of bitter sweet this time. Don't get me wrong I am so very excited to go home and too be staying as long as I am, but "bitter" because the only reason I am staying so long is for my Dad. On Tuesday I got a phone call from my parents informing me that my Dad had been called up? Military talk for-He is being deployed for a year to the Middle East!!! :( It came as quite a shock to me since he is in the Reserves and 49 years old??? Obviously I don't know much about it since I didn't think they would be sending someone in the reserves and sorry Dad, but at his age??? Anyhow, I am staying home a little longer to help out with my sister and brother, hang out with the family, and just generally be there before he leaves on June 19th!

The sweet part is that I get to be home in the WARM WEATHER for a month with my family and friends! There has been so much happening since I have been gone. Friends having babies, adopting, getting pregnant, etc... Sometimes I feel like I am missing out on so much, but for now this is where we are suppose to be. I have loved keeping up with my friends lives through blogs. It makes me so happy to see the things going on in their lives. It makes me feel like I am somehow still a part of it all? Silly, but true!

Well 7 days until I am home!
Cant wait to see everyone!
