Anniversary Pics

Last weekend I got to spend with G! It was a great weekend! We got to see friends and family, but we actually got some 'us' time in too! Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with Graham's family and friends, but after not seeing him for weeks at a time a little alone time is much needed! We were also celebrating our one year wedding anniversary ( a week late) on Monday! We had such a great day! We did a little shopping, had lunch, went to a movie (might be my last one because my back was KILLING me 20 minutes in), went back to G's Aunt's and got ready for the night! (OK I had a little nap first, but then got ready) ;) We went out for a great dinner and conversation! All in all, it was such a great day! I miss him so much! Its amazing what you take for granted when you spouse is there everyday.

25 Weeks!

Well can you believe that I am on time... even early with this weeks pic/post! Sorry the flash is in the picture. It will be a lot easier to take these pictures when G is back and I have someone to take them for me!

Anyway, I will be 25 weeks tomorrow! Only 15 to go, or 106 days. I am getting so excited. My next appointment is September 15th and then after that I think they will be every two weeks. :) My sweet little girl is still kicking like crazy. I was telling G last night that I am a little nervous for her to get much bigger because as small as she is right now, the kicks sometimes really hurt! I cant imagine how strong they are going to be in another month?

I had a funny experience yesterday while getting a mani\pedi (which was much over due)!

One of the Asian ladies that worked there kept coming up and rubbing my belly, which actually didn't bother me as much as I thought it would... The funny part is that she (in her broken English) kept insisting that it was a boy! Even after I told her more than once it was a girl, she kept saying ' no, no too low. looks like a boy, too low for girl'! haha. I finally just agreed and she dropped it. Needless to say I am excited about the 3D/4D ultrasound on the 28th to re assure us for the 3rd time that our little girl is a girl! hahahaha! :)

In other news... Our crib and dresser came in today!!! I am so excited to get them home and set up! I will have to wait until G gets home at the end of the month to set them up, which will be torture ;) but it makes things even more real now!!! I cant wait to start decorating her nursery.

I am flying out tomorrow to spend the weekend with my G! I/we are so excited! We get to celebrate our 1 year anniversary (last Monday) and I finally get to give him his gift :)! I have been dying to give it to him... Stay tuned to see how it goes ;)

One year??? (Yesterday)

Is it possible that Graham and I have been married a year??? Dates don't lie... Yesterday, August 31st, we were married one year. To me it doesn't seem possible.

I am so blessed to be married to such an amazing man.

Thank you for being such a rock in my life. You are the greatest person that I have ever known. You are a sweet, loving, honest, compassionate, loyal man who I am lucky to call my husband and best friend! I cant wait to see you holding our little girl. 23 Wks (Well on Friday ;)

Hi everyone! No pics this week! I am leaving tomorrow for Graham's family reunion in British Columbia for the weekend, so I am sure I will have plenty to share next week! :) I am so excited to see Graham Friday!!!! Its been 3 weeks and I feel like I am starting to go crazy! Hopefully only 3 more weeks of this long distance business...

We had an OB appointment yesterday morning and everything went great! Heart rate is still 145 BPM, my blood pressure and weight look great! And my doctor gave me a prescription for the insane acid reflux that I have been having! Hopefully I will be able to go a few hours without tasting throw-up in my mouth for a change!

How far along: 22weeks, 5days

Total weight gain/loss: +10

Maternity clothes: I just ordered a few tops from Gap, but that is it! I will say that Belly Bands are my best friends! Hopefully I will not have to buy pants thanks to this invention! :)

Stretch marks: NO, and praying that I don't get them!

Sleep: Good. Ugh! Still not great, but defiantly better! I still get up once a night to pee, and my hips KILL me during the night, but I feel like I have a lot more energy that I did a month ago!

Best moment this week: Doctors appointment yesterday! She said our little girl looks perfectly healthy! I get so stressed for some reason every time I go in there!

Movement: Her kicks/punches are getting so strong! I am really hoping Graham can feel her when I see him this weekend!

Food cravings: Mild Duds and Oreos!!!! This is new because I am NOT a sweets or a chocolate person, but I am in love with these two items right now!

Gender: Girl!

Labor Signs: None

Belly Button in or out: Still In, but just barely :(

What I miss: An actual wardrobe. I wear the same things over and over and over!

What I am looking forward to: Seeing G this weekend! And hopefully him being able to feel her kick for the first time!

Weekly Wisdom: Don't agree to your husband working out of town while you are pregnant! No matter what they offer to pay!

Milestones: ??? Gaining 10 pounds, being the heaviest I have EVER been, and being completely fine with it!

21 Weeks!!!

By the end of this week, she'll measure about 7 inches from crown to rump and weigh nearly a pound. Not bad for a little girl who weighed barely an ounce 10 weeks ago! Her hearing is developing, and sounds from your conversations can be heard inside the uterus--along with your heartbeat, stomach rumblings, and the pulsing of blood vessels. In fact, the womb is so noisy that it's been compared to an airport runway during takeoff; it's thought that the stimuli prepare the baby for the cacophony of noises, sights, and sounds that will greet him at birth.

21 Weeks! Not much new to report. I am ready for my next appointment! I am ready for my next ultrasound! I feel like I haven't seen her in forever! hehe! I cant wait to see how much she has grown. I love watching the ultrasounds because she is always so active!

RETIREMENT of the WEDDING RING! I am so sad to say it, but I don't think I will be wearing my engagement\wedding ring much longer! :( It makes me so sad! I never go a day without it. I never have problems getting it on in the mornings, but as the day goes on it gets tighter and tighter and I usually cant get it off without the help of cold water! I know I only have 4 months to go, but I really cant imagine not wearing it that long... Ah well :(

Late Again!

So this is suppose to be my 20 week post, but 20 wks was last Friday! So technically I am 20 weeks, 5 days, But I will still post last weeks pics. Mostly because the dogs are in them and they look so cute! hehe.

On the baby front, our little girl is growing fast and furious! I love the afternoons because she gets pretty active! I love to feel her moving around. Last night I woke up from a bad dream to find her kicking like crazy... guess she didnt like the dream either ;)

Graham is still away working which sucks, but I actually got to see him last week for a day and a half, and apparently the job will be done the 1st week of September instead of the 1st week of October! I am so relieved! 2 months is long enough!

In other news we are also moving out of our condo and into a house! YIPPPPEEEE!!!! I all happened pretty fast, but we are going to love being in a house again! And the kids will love having a yard again!

Anyway, that is all for now! I promise to try and actually update on time from now on!!!
